Challenge

As a newly-formed organization within Oakland Unified School Distrct, the Office of African American Male Achievement (AAMA) needed a strategy that would position them as a national authority on Black Male Achievement and thus increase their ability to invoke changes on a local level within the Oakland Unified School District.

 

PJS IMPACT

We took AAMA from a local to national brand with regular trade and national press. By increasing awareness and recognition, we help AAMA attract new funding and position the office as a model for actualizing the White House My Brother's Keeper Initiative.

Alameda County Health Pipeline Partnership

Challenge

 ACHPP works with industry, educators, and policymakers to increase the diversity of the Bay Area healthcare workforce and provides mentorship, academic enrichment, leadership development, and career exposure to underrepresented and disconnected youth.With a focus on partnership development during a period of growth, Alameda County Health Pipeline Partnership (ACHPP), a hub for workforce development policy and practice, was unable to allocate time to create communications infrastructure and a story bank.

 

PJS IMPACT

PJS Consultants designed an implementable communications strategy for ACHPP and crafted an approach that can easily scale up when additional resources become available. The organization is well positioned to create a story bank and has a plan for distribution. A mutually rewarding component of the engagement, PJS Consultants provide media training and coaching to increase staff communications capacity and to improve presentation effectiveness.

Challenge

McClarie Group (MCG) helps senior-executives working for Global 500 companies get promoted and communicate the big picture, therefore becoming better communicators and more effective leaders. With an increasing demand for their services, they sought out PJS Consultants to provide thought partnership to boost results for marketing, sales, staffing and workflow systems.

 

PJS IMPACT

PJS Consultants identified workflow inefficiencies and created processes and methods to increase overall productivity, improving efficiency by more than 70%. Recruitment support, from outreach to onboarding, allowed MCG to expand their staff with high-level talent. PJS Consultants develops effective marketing strategies that both strengthened and expanded their brand, and worked with MCG to create structures and systems that continue to increase their productivity.
